Hardware

1. Best to have 233MHz or higher Pentium-compatible CPU with at least 64 megabytes of RAM and 55 megabytes of free harddisk space.
2. Internet Access (for e-Form Submission via Internet e-Mail).
3. A suitable smart card reader (e.g. for digitally signing the e-Form using digital certificate embedded in the Smart ID Card issued by HKSAR Government. For further details, please visit the Smart ID Card Web site).

Software

1. Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 or above/ Vista / 7
2. Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 or above
3. Digital Certificate issued by Certification Authorities supported by the e-Form program
   - For digitally signing a completed e-Form. Details about digital certificates could be located at respective Certification Authorities.
4. e-Cert Control Manager Utility and other required software (for accessing the digital certificate embedded in the Smart ID Card issued by the HKSAR Government). For further details, please visit the Hongkong Post Web site.
